Movie legend Steven Seagal is in advanced talks to join the cast of Expendables 4, having retweeted numerous posts regarding the upcoming action sequel.
Franchise creator Sylvester Stallone is reportedly discussing contract terms with his old pal to sign the action legend for the fourth instalment. Steven Seagal has been turned down the last three films, despite Stallone making it publicly clear that he will not rest until the Under Siege star signed on.
But now Seagal has made it public knowledge that he’s working on joining the hit box office franchise.
It's being discussed. https://t.co/hb6wbiuQCu

Though it’s not confirmed, we have good reason to believe that Seagal, who’s currently in the process of resurrecting his movie career, will play the main villain in Expendables 4 – though like I said… it’s not confirmed.
In fact all of the plot and cast is currently under wraps, with previous cast alumni Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Terry Crews, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Wesley Snipes all yet to confirm their involvement.
The Expendables franchise will be looking to gain a strong hold back on the worldwide box office after falling victim to piracy back in 2014, shortly before the official release of Expendables 3, when the film found itself illegally released online, resulting in an immediate and financially damaging box office run.
We’ll bring you more on Steven Seagal‘s casting as news comes in.
