What better way to celebrate Batman Day than with an exclusive first look at our new Commissioner Gordon, portrayed now by Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons.
Justice League director Zack Snyder shared the black and white image of Gotham City’s most beloved law-maker on his official Twitter page – the exclusive sneak peak marks the official day dedicated to the famous caped-crusader.

J.K. Simmons has made somewhat of a reputation of late after posting several Instagram images of his brutal workout regime for the upcoming Justice League film that’s seen the 61-year old actor pack on a series amount of muscle. You can’t blame him to be honest, especially considering the physicality of his co-stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Jason Mamoa.
It’s not yet known how much screen time Commissioner Gordon will receive when Justice League hits cinemas next year, but you can expect to see a lot more of the character when Ben Affleck’s solo Batman movie hits cinemas sometime in the next couple of years.
Justice League, which stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa and Ezra Miller, hits cinemas on 17 November 2017.
