Thor: Ragnarok latest: The words ‘cameo’ and ‘Marvel’ seem to go hand in hand these days and when another installment in the expansive Marvel Cinematic Universe enters production, you can almost guarantee there will be the odd cameo or two.
We reported a few weeks ago that Scarlett Johansson had been spotted on the Atlanta set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and now reports are coming through that Benedict Cumberbatch could be set for an appearance as Doctor Strange in Thor: Ragnarok.
The third installment in the Thor franchise sees the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) team up with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor for an epic intergalactic battle that will directly lead us into the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War blockbuster.
Now however it seems Doctor Strange could be making an appearance in the film after set photo’s of Chris Hemsworth in character showed him holding a business card with the Doctor’s address on, leading fans to speculate that Cumberbatch could play some part in the storyline.
Of course this could all just be a major coincidence, but considering Doctor Strange hits cinemas later this year, somehow I think it’s all but confirmed.
Thor: Ragnarok is currently filming in Australia and stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Karl Urban, Jeff Goldblum and Anthony Hopkins – it hits cinemas worldwide from 3 November 2017.
