BREAKING: The infamous Suicide Squad have been rumoured for Justice League – Part 2 alongside a host of other famous DC Comics heroes.
News has began filtered through from Hollywood that the Suicide Squad will team up with the likes of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman for the highly anticipated Justice League – Part 2 that will see a whole host of DC superhero royalty hit the big screen together for the first time.
Considering the raw star power on offer in this week’s global release Suicide Squad, including Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie, its no surprise that the anti-heroes would play some part in Warner Bros. Pictures colossal upcoming blockbuster Justice League, though the romours are only specifying Part 2.
Our best bet is that the Suicide Squad will be drafted in by Ben Affleck’s Batman to fight DC’s ultimate supervillain Darkseid, with a whole host of other allies including Green Lantern, Catwoman, Nightwing and Green Arrow, to name just a few, brought into the mix as well.
If these romours are confirmed it would be a major boost to the studio in it’s box office battle with rival Marvel Studios, who’s Avengers Infinity Wars films will be hitting cinemas worldwide around the same time – however its worth pointing out that Warner Bros. hasn’t released any news regarding the second Justice League installment despite showcasing a teaser for Part 1 at this year’s Comic Con International.
