Incredible! How else can you describe it. We all knew Warner Bros. Pictures would bring something memorable to their showcase in Comic Con‘s famous Hall H but we’ve been spoilt rotten this year.
With a jam packed schedule that included Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and even Justice League, Warner Bros. pulled out all the stops with a whole host of exclusive new content and an all star lineup that includes some of Hollywood‘s biggest names.
Suicide Squad take over Comic-Con
The cast of next week’s eagerly anticipated release Suicide Squad were out in force today for the sold out Warner Bros. panel and Q&A. Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto led the panel discussion as director David Ayer previewed more exclusive never before seen footage of the world’s most dysfunctional group of anti-heroes.
Moderated by primetime talkshow host Conan O’Brien, the star-studded panel delved deeper into their characters, with Will Smith describing the movie as “bad vs evil” showdown, as the world’s baddest villains go up against one of the world’s most feared supervillain’s, Joker.
Jared Leto, who plays Joker in Suicide Squad, made his Comic Con debuted alongside the rest of the cast having missed out last year due to scheduling conflicts. Many fans and members of the press were eager to press the Oscar-winning actor for all the gossip regarding his unique performance as the Joker, a part made famous by fellow Oscar winners Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson. Despite not giving much away he did dish the dirt on this first day on set with the cast, a day Margot Robbie won’t forget when she received a live rat with a note simply saying ‘a gift from Mr. J’.
Suicide Squad hits cinemas worldwide from August 5.

Wonder Woman mesmerises Hall H
First up on stage in Hall H is fitting for a film that showcases the first major female superhero in modern say cinema, and Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot made that perfectly clear while speaking of her excited to the packed crowd.
Hitting cinemas merely a couple of months before Justice League Part 1, Wonder Woman has a lot riding on its shoulders in regards to setting up the DC Universe and renewing fans trust after the slight mishap that was Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (though personally for us, we loved it).
Gadot, who will also be fronting the much anticipated Justice League films, spoke of her pride in helping bring female superheroes to the forefront of Hollywood;
The film follows the early origins of Diana Prince as she becomes the warrior goddess Wonder Woman and co-stars Chris Pine and Robin Wright.
Catch Wonder Woman in cinemas worldwide from 2 June 2017 and check out the action-packed trailer below:
Comic Con Exclusively Presents Justice League
It was absent from Warner Bros initially annouced Comic Con lineup, but deep down we all knew something spectacular would be unleashed during their Hall H panel yesterday – and we were not left disappointed.
The Justice League themselves, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa and Ezra Miller, all took to the stage as the room exploded into screams and cheers from the surprised crowd to present an exclusive look at the blockbuster.
It worth noting from those of you who’ve not seen it that the footage was surprisingly long considering the film is still in production, but first appearances look great. We get our first exclusive look at The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman in the trailer, as well as Ben Affleck’s Batman and of course Wonder Woman.
Director Zack Snyder, who’s been the subject of a recent online petition asking for his removal from the project due to the disappointing performance of Batman v Superman, remained tight lipped regarding plot details surrounding the film, including the possible inclusion of Jared Leto’s Joker.
Sadly we’ll have to wait a little longer for news on Justice League but until then we can console ourselves with the exclusive teaser trailer here »
