Marvel tends to have a great record when it comes to big screen adaptions of its popular comic book franchises, but one character has had somewhat of a rough time in Hollywood… Ghost Rider.
But that may all about to change in some respect as the hell rider is heading for the small screen in Marvel’s popular to series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when it enters its fourth season.
It’s worth pointing out as you read this that we’ve no detailed information about the characters introduction to TV except for the fact that he’s definitely confirmed as a new character in the popular primetime show having appeared in the exclusive teaser reel during the Comic Con Q&A.
Ghost Rider, which follows the story of stunt rider turned vigilante Johnny Blaze, hit the big screen back in 2007 with Nicholas Cage in the title role – unfortunately the blockbuster tanked at the box office and was critically panned for its bad casting and poor script. Surprisingly the film did spawn a sequel in 2011, not surprising nowadays in Hollywood, but once again flopped with audiences and critics alike.
With the new season of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. scheduled for release in September, it’s highly likely that our new Ghost Rider will show himself soon and spill the beans on his involvement in the show.
