Production on Kingsman: The Golden Circle is well underway in the UK and US, and a whole host of famous names have since joined the hotly anticipated sequel including Halle Berry, Channing Tatum and Julianne Moore – however one name has been illusive… Colin Firth.
Having bite the bullet in the first installment, Colin Firth‘s character had been slated to make a sensational return from the grave, yet no official word had been released. Now however it’s finally been confirmed that the man himself is attached to the project.
Back in April, leading man Taron Egerton teased a picture of Harry Hart’s famous glasses on Twitter, spawning rumours that Firth’s character would somehow be written back into the story after he proved a colossal hit with fans after the films release.

A couple of months on, and with production nearing completion, one of the films stars, Pedro Pascal (who most will recognize from Game of Thrones), has released a picture with Firth from the set of Kingsman 2.
So, Colin Firth is officially returning, but in what capacity is still under-wraps for now. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is slated for release on 16 June 2017. Read more below:
