When you’re one of TV’s hottest properties, it’s no surprise that Hollywood would be lining up at your door with endless movie offers – and for Emilia Clarke, that means new exciting project opportunities.
It’s probably no surprise then that the Game of Thrones actress has decided against returning to the role of Sarah Connor in any Terminator Genisys sequels, and instead opting for other movie roles.
Speaking recently ahead of the sixth season of Game of Thrones, Clarke was quick to squash any rumors of a return to the Terminator franchise;
“No. Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.”
Perhaps not such a surprise considering the films disappointment at the global box office, falling short of estimations and leaving questions as to it’s future looming over studio bosses.
Regardless, whether the franchise continues on, it will likely happen without it’s starlet, perhaps even it’s leading man Mr Schwarzenegger if his career continues to grow yet again.
