It’s never easy taking over as the Dark Knight, and Ben Affleck’s not had the easiest of starts, with many critics panning Batman v Superman – though most fans agree he’s perhaps the most realistic Batman so far.
The good news however is that Warner Bros. Studios has given the green light for Affleck’s self-directed solo film as Gotham City’s Caped Crusader.
Despite the critics views on Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman blockbuster, the general consensus from fans has been better than expected, with the vast majority praising Ben Affleck‘s dark and gritty take on Bruce Wayne as the best aspect of the film, that seemed plagued with issues both in terms of story and casting.
With a script already penned by the Academy Award-winning actor, it will certainly come as a confidence boost for the actor who’s reportedly agreed a multi picture deal that includes the up-coming Suicide Squad, as well as Justice League parts 1 and 2.
If Ben Affleck’s directorial work is anything to go by, the yet untitled Batman reboot will certainly offer a completely new take on one of the world’s most famous superheroes.
