So the end has arrived – one of the most profitable film franchises is about to release it’s much anticipated finale.
Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth were in attendance as yesterday’s (July 9) panel for likely the last time together promoting the upcoming Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
The final film in the series, made famous by the original novels, will see Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) lead an all out war on the corrupt capital, headed by ruthless ‘dictator’ President Snow (Donald Sutherland), with a little help from Peeta (Hutcherson), Gale (Hemsworth) and Haymitch (Woody Harrelson).
During the live Q&A session, which was packed to the rafters with journalists and fans, franchise director Francis Lawrence have fans an exclusive one-minute promo sneak peak, that included Jennifer Lawrence donning a red suit with an army behind her – the clip was met with applause as people began to tweet from the sold out Comic-Con.

Fans at the event were also treated to an exclusive sneak-peak of a second full-length trailer featuring a burning Capital – news on the release of this trailer has yet to be confirmed, but re likely to be seen in the coming weeks.
During the hour-long Q&A, which was hosted by comedian and talk-show host Conan O’Brien, Lawrence paid tribute to the character that made her career, telling fans:

The Hunger Games farewell has kicked off what’s sure to be one of the most talked about Comic-Cons in recent years, with Star Wars set to panel today (July 10) and Batman v Superman showcasing on Saturday (July 11).
